We stayed at NL Trastevere for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location and was easy to find. After reading another review we knew we had to check in at the hotel 2 doors down. Check in was quick, so quick that we were not given the key code to the main door and we did not realise it would be locked on our return at midnight. The telephone numbers provided on the door went to answer phone so we were facing a night on the street. Luckily we found a police officer who was able to contact somebody and we were provided the key code. Great we were in the room. Not so great at 4am when other British guests came in making an unholy din. The walls are paper thin, they may as well have been in our room. They left next day only to be replaced by young Italian girls who were worse. Overall you get what you pay for. My advice is go elsewhere if you value a good night’s sleep. The street noise can be loud too. The room we had was badly in need of redecorating and a new mattress is needed. Small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities was great and plenty of clean towels and toiletries were provided.

we arrived to a small bump of trying to get checked in, although it was very early but they stored our luggage so that we could walk around and eat. The staff was very nice and answered all questions when we had them. a small note if you want a shower at night take it early, I usually shower at night and always had to take cold showers so be warned.. lol the location is very convenient and easy to walk to everything, there are great places to eat all around but make sure to take a card for hotel so if you take a taxi they can find the place, a lot did not know where it was or how to get there. the check in is 2 doors in 37 and your rooms are in 34 Via in Piscinula 2 doors up from rooms so be aware. some bad points, not a lot of hot water, and ants in our room, and there is AC but it is not that strong so remember to open the windows, we always open windows so not a big deal. Roberto, ah Roberto, he is a wonder. he has a lot of information of the area, where to go and was always a big help getting what we needed. we took my In Laws so we had 2 rooms and he was always making sure we had what we needed at all times. Roberto we still need to do breakfast lol. we will miss seeing you. Feel better soon my friend. Denise and James Tabor

The owner was amazing and had great customer service! I really appreciated her local tips and that she allowed us for early access to the room. The room was so cute and so loved the shower. I thought it would be noisy but it was not. Great breakfast spots nearby too. I would definitely stay again.

I've stayed here twice, both times were great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location couldn't be better, close to all the major sites and so many amazing restaurants nearby. Room was missing a few basics like soap, tea/coffee but that didn't bother me too much, the room is just a base, most of the time you'll be out exploring. I'll definitely be returning next time I visit Rome.

We Checked the positive rating in TripAdisor and saw the photo shown here. The photo is Nothing like our room! The size of our room was so small ! That night; there was a leak coming down from the bathroom ceiling. It soaked some of my things I had in there and the floor was flooded. I almost slipped on the floor. When I took a towel to clean the floor: it was soaked in black dirt from the filthy floor I would Never recommend this hotel,!
